Its about Ladakh and the Himalayn culture... a project initiated by Sonam Yangdol, to promote and share her native land, Ladakh and Himalayan culture with the occidental society.
NativeHimalaya is a private entreprise based in France, started with an objective to create a direct link between the rare culture of Ladakh and the Himalayas, with the occidental society. We carry this project through different mediums and activities: media, tourism, exhibitions and conferences. We are also marketing and promoting local arts and crafts from the region, particularly Ladakhi, Kashmiri and Tibetan arts. We collect all our products directly from the artist and the manufacturers to avoid any sort of intermediate. In Ladakh, our aim is to create a market for the local crafts, which at the moment is just limited to the area and is a developing sector. In doing so we try to encourage the artist and associations of the region.
For the visitors to Ladakh and Zanskar, we arrange direct booking with the local tour operators in Ladakh. We also do marketing of our travel companies in ladakh and give travel consultancy to the tour operators and travel proffessionals in France.
